Oily Skin

Typical features are visibly enlarged pores and shinier skin. Similar to combination skin, it is the sebaceous glands which are responsible here for the skin’s appearance. However, unlike combination skin, all the skin appears oily and shiny, without any dry areas. Here, light, mattifying, fresh textures are necessary to regulate the activity of the sebaceous glands, sufficiently moisturise the skin and refine the pores with astringent* active ingredients. Scrubs, as well as antibacterial and anti-inflammatory active ingredients, are used to prevent impurities from forming.
